Filio was born in Athens, Greece. She is a graduate of the Higher School of Dance “Morianova – Trasta” in Athens (State diploma of Professor of Classical and Contemporary Dance), of the University “Paris 8” in Paris (“History, Aesthetics, Philosophy of Contemporary Dancing”), of the “Isola Danza Academy” of the Venice Biennale under the direction of Carolyn Carlson (Professional Dancer and Performer Perfection) with teachers including Carolyn Carlson, Malou Airaudo, Jean Cebron, Bill T. Jones, Simona Bucci and of the Acting School “Akis Davis” in Athens (Actress). She has also studied piano, advanced music theory and Harmony and singing at the “National Conservatory of Athens”. She studies via Coursera “Project Planning, Administration and Coordination” in The University of Michigan. She speaks English, French and Italian and has a basic knowledge of Spanish. She still studies singing with Lydia Servou at the Music School of Milos.

She has choreographed and directed, among others, the Dance, Theater and Performance art pieces “Hotel Pessoa” (TAF, The Art Foundation, Athens 2010), “They call me a street” (OLVIO Theatre, Athens 2009), “I see you!” (Festival of Greek Choreographers 2008 and The Place “Resolution!” Festival, London 2009), “6 sour cherries in the garden” (Theater in Kolono, 2012), “two stories” based on the play “The night just before the forests” by Bernard – Marie Coltes (Experimental Stage of Milos and OLVIO Theater, Athens), “Dear beloved” (bar theater performance 2010 – 2013), “Dreaming Marionettes or this is too romantic?” (2016), “Muses” Performance (2017) “Eros…” Dance – theatre (Milos 2018), “…unconquered in the fight” (Ancient Theatre of Milos, Kimolos island and Athens Municipality Festival) 2020. She is teaching dance for the last and theatre. She has a movement director in several theatrical productions in Athens, Milos, Cyprus, France.

In 2015 she moved to Milos and founded the Non Profit Association / company “International Dance & Theatre Center of Milos”. A year later, she founded the “Performance Project” Company, a Dancing, Acting and Performance workshop for teenagers and adults, with many performances in Milos, Kimolos, Athens and Tours, France. In 2023 she founded the Community Educational Program “Let’s go in stage” in Kimolos.
