As for the benefit to the cultural life of the place, the Festival offers inspiration, education and quality entertainment, while helping to develop the cultural and general tourism of the island. Starting from the belief that one of the most important purposes of Art is to address all people without exception, the Festival aims to develop an audience of all ages, origins and orientations, away from social stereotypes and discrimination of the past. A community remote from the big urban centers and cut off from them for most of the year, which in recent years has shown that it needs cultural development and education, deserves – like everyone else – our attention and care. But the international public (travelers) also have the opportunity to break free from the stereotype that Milos and Kimolos are interesting destinations only thanks to their natural beauty, discovering that they have culture and quality entertainment to offer them as well.
